Frank M. Ferrell graduated from Mississippi College School of Law in 1978 and practiced law in Columbus, Mississippi for two years before going to work in the oil and gas industry. He remained in oil and gas from 1980 until July of 1993, finishing his oil and gas career as in-house counsel to Arkla Exploration Company.
In October 1993, he started his private practice in Shreveport, Louisiana, sharing office space with the late James Dawson, who was an experienced medical malpractice attorney. Following Mr. Dawson's departure in January 1995, Mr. Ferrell took over his medical malpractice cases and has continued to represent injured individuals against physician, hospital, and nursing home negligence.
From 1995 to present, Mr. Ferrell has collected, either through settlement or judgment, in excess of Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000.00) on behalf of his medical malpractice clients alone.
